Dr. V. Sridevi is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Andhra University College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, with over 22 years of teaching experience and more than 19 years of research expertise. She has made significant contributions to the field of Industrial Pollution and Control Engineering through her focused work on sustainable waste management and clean energy technologies. Her research spans diverse and impactful areas including upgradation of plastic solid waste into fuels and chemicals using plasma-assisted pyrolysis platforms, biodegradation processes, bioreactor design, biosorption techniques, and biodiesel production. She has successfully completed two major sponsored research projects supported by UGC and NTPC, reflecting strong industry and institutional collaboration. Dr. Sridevi has played a pivotal role in academic mentoring, having guided 64 M.Tech students and supervised 13 doctoral scholars, with nine PhD degrees awarded under her supervision.
