Dr. Ali Ahmad is an accomplished agronomist with extensive experience across the full spectrum of agricultural crop management, from sowing and harvesting to post-harvest operations, along with expertise in report writing, farmer training, and national and international collaboration. He has contributed significantly to research through major projects on vermicomposting funded by HEC-NRPU and the Pak–Turk Researchers’ Mobility Grant Program, focusing on sustainable agriculture and agricultural waste management. His academic experience includes roles as Research Assistant, Researcher, Teaching Assistant, and Intern at leading agricultural institutions. Currently serving as Scientific Officer (Agronomy) at the Arid Zone Research Institute, Bhakkar, he has been recognized for academic excellence with a Bronze Medal awarded by the Governor of Punjab. His scholarly output includes numerous research and review articles, a book, book chapters, and popular science articles published in both English and Urdu.
